A Mum, a Mess, and One Good Idea

Bianca is a mother of three from Geelong who spent years cooking family dinners with a drawer full of mismatched measuring spoons, half of them missing, the rest with markings worn off from years of dishwasher cycles.

One especially chaotic Tuesday night, mid-recipe with a toddler on her hip, she gave up hunting for the right spoon and just guessed and the whole batch of pancakes came out wrong. That was the moment she decided there had to be a better way.

She found an adjustable measuring spoon that replaced her entire set with a single sliding tool, and it completely changed how she cooked. She started sharing it with other parents in her mothers' group, who all had the same drawer of chaos at home.

The Home Bakers Co. was born from that, a simple tool made by a mum, for the real, busy kitchens the rest of us actually cook in.
